Kaia FIT Lafayette is an all-women’s fitness and lifestyle program run by Christine Driscoll, CPT. What makes Kaia so special is the sense of community we create around fitness and health; we are a tribe of women who offer endless support and a heart-centered approach as we set personal goals and hold each other accountable in achieving them. Our classes are personally tailored within a group setting and we welcome all ages and abilities. Our coaches have in-depth knowledge to provide modifications for any exercise, whether to accommodate one’s skill level or any preexisting injury.
Workouts focus on bodyweight exercises (pushups, burpees, triceps dips, squats) and incorporate functional intense training (FIT), which is designed to build strength over time through progression and allows for more fluid movement through daily life. We utilize a variety of equipment from kettle bells, plyo-boxes and jump ropes, to pullup bars and TRX suspension bands… And we run!
Our program not only focuses on attaining fitness goals, but also making lifestyle transformations. We offer nutritional guidance centered around the principles of consuming whole, non-processed foods and providing adequate fuel for gaining strength. With a passion for nutrition and holistic health, Christine recognizes there is no ‘one size fits all’ answer for improving one’s health: “We are each on our own separate journeys, yet together we learn, share knowledge and support one another as we strive to achieve optimal wellbeing.”
